Who are we:


Anyone over 55 who wishes to participate in our healthy activities.

What are we doing:


 
                    2016
 Pole walking has resumed Wednesdays 9.45am starting at 
Lions Club Park then followed by Tai chi in the park at 10:30
am


tai chi Sunday evening 630 at the Lions Park
              2015:

Pole Walking in a social group

                - A  30-minute excursion at your pace

                - meet at Sorting Gap at 10:00pm Mondays                     

 

Fun Fitness for 55's downstairs at Knox United Church

                 -  dancing, weight-training, fun movement

                 -  Thursday mornings  at 11:15 am

 

Seated Yoga       United Native Friendship Centre

                           Tuesday at 1:00pm

 

 

 

Community Garden Plot

                 - a few shared, raised boxes

                 - to resume in the spring

         Previously:"wii"  bowling

pole walking

tai chi

zumba & line dancing

bog walk (Cranberry Peatlands Interpretive Trail)

riverfront walking & socializing

snow shoeing

senior games -- table shuffleboard & floor shuffleboard

bannock making workshop

aqua-fitness

   

 The majority of these activities have been offered FREE to anyone over 55, through community partnerships and grants.
